“This weekend and really this whole past week has been a trip like no other. I’m sure like many of us it’s hard to find the right words to describe what this has meant to us all. As a solo traveler I was a little nervous I’d have a hard time making friends but that fear was squashed quickly with the first friend I made on the tour hiking through the villages in the Atlas Mountains. And even to those I didn’t meet, seeing everyone’s smiles, singing the lyrics to our favorite band, it felt like home. “There is definitely something about Iceland that gets in your soul. I first went in 2013, spent a month crossing on a bike, and I’m constantly scheming about my next visit. Fortunately the Icelandair stopover option makes it possible. Those shows at the Harpa were transcendent and beautiful, like Iceland, and that ink is rad. Congratulations!”
